Tax Site Volunteer Opportunities

Every hour you volunteer brings $400 in Federal refunds back to a low income taxpayer!

In 2014, Tempe’s 123 VITA tax site volunteers gave 4,885 hours of their time preparing taxes for the low/moderate income individuals/families, seniors and those with disabilities.  Collectively, our treasured volunteers served 1,307 taxpayers, preparing 1,362 Federal and State tax returns for free.  Thanks to this important service provided by volunteers, $2,359,793 in refunds were provided to those who need it most.

Be a part of making a difference – consider becoming a volunteer.  Many positions are available.
