VITA Training Info

ACCESSING OUR ONLINE VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM – GALAXY

• Once registering on our online volunteer management site Galaxy/Get Connected, click on “Sign Up” from the top menu bar.
• Click “Continue” and you will be sent an email to confirm it is valid.  (You may continue with the next step without checking the email.)
• Select “Browse Programs” from the left menu, locate the VITA program and click “Become a FAN.”  This will allow us to identify VITA volunteers from all of the TCC volunteers.   
• Once you “Become a FAN” you will be sent notices for any volunteer opportunities posted related to the VITA program. 

Interested in volunteering for the 2025 tax filing season?  Respond/sign-up for our 2025 VITA Volunteer Interest opportunity already posted in Galaxy online.  We will then reach out to you with further information.
