Tempe Community Foundation
Tempe: Today, Tomorrow, Forever
A Caring Investment for a Strong Tempe
The Tempe Community Foundation (TCF) was established in 1992 with the support of local leaders who wished to continue Tempe’s strong tradition of philanthropy by creating a centralized way to give back to the community.
TCF exists to build a lasting legacy of care for Tempe by growing and distributing resources that support the human service needs of our community. The TCF Endowment Fund is held in perpetuity, with a percentage of its value made available for distribution each year.
Gifts to TCF are invested as part of a permanent endowment, ensuring donor contributions make an impact today while building a legacy for future generations.
Funds from the Endowment are distributed annually through a through a competitive grant process. Qualified nonprofit organizations are invited to apply for funding based on the year’s focus are and identified community needs.
