Community of Practice

WHAT IS A COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE?

A Community of Practice (CoP) is a community of people who share a common interest in a certain area.  The community provides its members who may come from different backgrounds with an opportunity to exchange knowledge, skills, experiences and information.  Through these interactions, members in the community give and receive support and advice in person and virtually.

Tempe Community Council’s CoP brings together nonprofit partners, City of Tempe staff and community volunteers in conversation about human services priority populations and practice.

UPCOMING SESSIONS & TRAINING

Join us in the conversation, share your experience and knowledge, exchange, explore, collaborate, and learn from others working to address the various issues and populations being served daily.  The 2025 summer schedule is now posted.  Register for discussion meetings and training opportunities.

Training workshops are offered as part of the series of Community of Practice sessions for each of our six target populations.
