TCC Impact Award
The TCC Impact Award recognizes an individual, nonprofit, organization, business, group, or program that has improved the quality of life, made a meaningful difference, raised awareness, and/or made a significant impact to address a human service need in Tempe.
Action or service of having made a significant impact to a human service need or the health, welfare and safety of others, especially for disenfranchised and/or vulnerable people in Tempe. Service or action must be directly impacting a person, cause, group or population in Tempe. Individuals and groups of any age are eligible. The nominee should serve as a role model for compassion and service to another or others, and be striving to make Tempe a better place. This can be a one-time event, ongoing service, or simple act of kindness. The charitable activity cannot be part of a nominee’s job description or duties and cannot receive any monetary or personal benefits from their involvement.
This award is to provide an opportunity to highlight acts which better the life of another or others no matter how big or small, which do not qualify for other awards but are worthy of acknowledgement and recognition. For volunteer service specifically, consider submitting a nomination for the Volunteer Award.
Recipient/s selected for the TCC Impact Award will be announced in August and presented by Tempe Community Council at the 38th Annual Don Carlos Humanitarian Awards, on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
