Agency Review

Tempe community members are needed to help direct City of Tempe funding for human service providers.  Review applications, interview agencies and recommendations to Tempe City Council.  For more info and a volunteer application click here.

Free Tax Preparation Site
Tax preparers, greeters and interepreters are needed to staff Tempe’s annual Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) supersite.  Free training is provided for all including IRS tax certification for tax preparers.  Fore more info and a volunteer application click here.
Tax site is open February 3-April 14, 2018.  Minimum 20 hours needed.

Threadz Teen Resource Center
Volunteers are needed to assist students with obtaining needed items, sorting clothes and displaying clothes, general center upkeep.  Two teen resource centers located in Tempe high schools (Marcos de Niza and Tempe High) operate various days and times throughout the school year.
